Aureus Townhouses

Our Aureus townhouses project delivers multiple townhouse developments across the Aureus Estate located at Skennars Head, NSW. Project delivery scales range from 10 dwellings up to 44 dwellings in each townhouse complex.

Architecture and Landscape Architecture draw on elements of subtropical design and local/indigenous character to deliver a range of dwelling sizes providing seamless indoor and outdoor living to maximize the site character (less than 250m from the Pacific Ocean) and the local environment.

Townhouse living results in more compact development outcomes and therefore relies significantly on landscape outcomes to ensure integration into the surrounding built and natural environment.

Heavily planted common areas and private spaces add a complexity to the detail of the often compact architecture. Numerous external deck and patio areas provide direct connections to external landscape areas. Even with the smaller outdoor yard spaces, each dwelling gets a shade tree, while shade trees are also provided in common areas, particularly access to rear loaded garages. Retaining walls and batters, combined with planting are used to manage grade changes.

The landscape treatment of the Aureus townhouse project results in carefully curated and inviting built products that add significantly to the estate character, streetscape and provide a home owners can be proud of.
