Banyan Hill Residential Estate is located north of Ballina in Northern NSW. Banyan Hill Estate will ultimately compromise some 800 dwellings across rolling hilltops and ridgeways with expansive views of the Pacific Coast and ocean are afforded to the east.
Banyan Hill Residential Estate will be delivered across numerous stages and will contribute landscaped streetscapes, retention of significant (mature) paddock trees such as Ficus macrophylla (Moreton Bay Figs), a series of local parts, a central district park (elevated to capture significant hinterland views), district sports fields, water quality treatment areas and offset vegetation rehabilitation areas.
Initial stages of the development have delivered numerous streetscapes, provided for the retention and ongoing protection of several Ficus macrophylla (Moreton Bay Figs), provided areas for water quality treatment in the form of wetlands and bio-basins, as well as delivering the first of the local parks to be provided throughout the estate.
The first full local park delivers a small, family focused reserve with junior play opportunities that maximises the local topography. Other elements of the design include extensive planting, shade and shelter, picnic facilities and a BBQ.
